About the author

About the book

This cookbook provides insight into Nigerian food and its abundant history for people all over the world. From the delicious assorted native soup of the South-South region  to the distinct taste of afang soup by the Efik-Ibibios or the unmatched textures and flavours of gbegiri and ewedu from the South-West, this is a celebration of premium culinary  experiences from around Nigeria. Here, I share important stories about our culture, not just with words, but with images  to guide you through each process from sourcing ingredients to serving the finished meal.

I love this book, so much to learn and such an inspiration to explore the Nigerian cuisine! The book is so much more than a cookbook - such a joy to read, I love the pro verbs and mouthwatering photos.

Having not lived in Nigeria for over 20 years, I have tried repeatedly ( and failed) to replicate the Nigerian delicacies and dishes of my youth - until now!

Such a beautiful, easy and well written cook book. The photos and stories give you a feeling of Nigerian culture along side a surprisingly easy and practical to follow recipe which turns up a very tasty meal.

The only Nigerian cook book you will ever need. This is a great book with lots of great recipes and information. I highly recommend this book for anyone serious about exploring Nigerian cuisine.
